This Privacy Policy explains how Dreamcatcher (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Dreamcatcher mobile application and related services (the “Service”).

Information we collect

  • Account data — email address, display name, and authentication identifiers when you create or sign in to an account.
  • Dream content — dream text, titles, notes, alarms, reference images, and generated images or videos you create in the app.
  • Usage and subscription data — plan tier, weekly generation usage, and purchase-related identifiers processed through Apple, Google, and RevenueCat.
  • Device and diagnostics — basic device and app information needed to deliver notifications, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability.

How we use information

  • Provide alarms, dream journaling, sync across devices, and AI generation features you request.
  • Authenticate your account, enforce subscription limits, and process purchases.
  • Improve the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

AI generation

When you generate images or videos, your prompt and any linked reference photos are sent to our AI providers solely to produce the requested results. Avoid including sensitive personal information in prompts.

Sharing

We share data with service providers that help us operate the Service, including Supabase (auth, database, storage), AI generation providers, and RevenueCat / Apple / Google for subscriptions. We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention and deletion

We retain account and dream data while your account is active. You may delete your account from Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete Account, which permanently removes your account and associated dream data subject to backup and legal retention requirements.

Children

Dreamcatcher is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your choices

  • Access or update profile details in the app.
  • Manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple App Store or Google Play, or from Settings → Subscription in the app.
  • Delete your account from Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete Account.
  • Control notification permissions in your device settings.
